Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning “universal life energy”. The recipient lies fully clothed on a table for this gentle “laying on of hands.” Using certain energy points on the body, reiki is passed to the recipient, enhancing energy flow. Practitioners have been trained to focus loving, non-judging intent toward themselves and others.
