The Grateful Heart
Use when:
Every morning and every evening to increase your energetic vibration
Feeling angry, agitated, restless
Feeling stressed and negatively focused
What it helps:
Helps you to manifest more of what you really want to manifest
Reduces stress, agitation, frustration
Energy shifts from negatively to positively focused
Helps other energy tools work more effectively
How to do it:
Focus your attention on your breathing (with tongue behind upper teeth) and
begin breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. Notice how
your breath breathes you and your body expands into the world, receiving and
opening, and contracts back into you, giving and letting go. Do this for about 4
- 6 breaths or more, noticing your heart opening and softening.
Let come in to your awareness one by one, five people, situations, experiences
for which you are grateful, and feel that gratefulness throughout your being. The key
here is to really feel gratefulness in your heart. It is feeling that attracts similar energy
to us. back to top
Separating Heaven And Earth
Use when:
Starting to feel sick or poorly
Threatened by a cold or flu
You've picked up negative energies from another or from a situation
What it helps:
Activates spleen meridian (increasing flushing of toxins)
Releases excess and accumulated energies
Brings more oxygen to the cells
Allows fresh energy into joints and open spaces
How to do it:
Stand with feet together, hands at sides on thighs, fingers separated. Breathing
deeply through your nose bring your arms slowly up and out in front of you,
bringing them together at your heart (from temple to prayer position). Exhale
through your mouth.
Breathe deeply again through your nose, and as you do, push one hand up
toward heaven and the other down to earth, flattening the palms for a better
stretch, as if pushing against both. Hold for as long as is comfortable without
exhaling. Breathe out through your nose and return hands to cathedral position.
Repeat alternating hand positions. Do at least two to three times.
Bring arms down to sides, and slowly begin to bend forward at your waist, with
knees slightly bent, until your upper body is hanging comfortably. Breathe two
complete breath cycles or more, then slowly return to standing position (doing
Celtic Weave, if you'd like), and roll shoulders backwards.

Note: You will enhance the effects of all of these exercises by pausing between exercises to assess the difference or change that you feel. At the end of your routine, pause again to reflect on how you feel now compared to how you felt when you began. Using the 0 - 10 scale will assist you in this.
